確實(shí)只是一條小小溝渠，順著走就能走到青墻黛瓦的古鎮(zhèn)心臟。是的，到前童也許會(huì)顛覆原來心中打好腹稿的江南古鎮(zhèn)模樣——如周莊、烏鎮(zhèn)、西塘那般倚河而建、小橋長(zhǎng)廊式。不過，前童最起眼的仍然是水，童姓先祖自然懂得水對(duì)家族繁衍的重要性，在建村之初，就把遠(yuǎn)處白溪河引入了鎮(zhèn)內(nèi)。那條本地人稱之為溝的小溪，也就沿著“回”字形九宮八卦的建筑布局繞屋而行，形成了“戶戶有活水”的獨(dú)特景致。
